数よりレア
いい曲いっぱいだけど、今まで出たオムニバスと同じ。全部ＣＤ化してる曲ばっかりです。サヴァサヴァ、ダイヤルＭ、ピーターウルフ、アポロニア６。そのうち１曲でも入ってれば、１００００円でも買うのに。
魅力的な選曲
80代洋楽は普段日本の音楽しか耳にしない人ともなぜか盛り上がる不思議なジャンルです。もちろん、このBox、すべて佳曲ぞろいです。
「Take On Me」などの王道ヒットはもちろん、40位前後でとどまった曲などもあり、チャートマニアの人もニヤリの選曲です。
「Tuff Enuff」とかOingo Boingoの曲がオムニバスで聴けるとは思わなかったです。嬉しすぎ。The Outfieldも「Your Love」でないスマッシュヒットを選んでいるのはシブ過ぎです。シブ過ぎついでに、The Dream Academyは「Life In A Northern Town」のかわりに、「The Love Parade」が聞きたかったというのは贅沢かな？とりあえず、お勧めです。
第2次 British Inventionの洗礼を受けたなら買い!
第2次 British Inventionにやられた私、特にdisc 3は涙無くては聴くことはできません〜〜。
Duran Duran, ABC, Soft Cell, Stray Cats...
そしてHaircutに！Dexy'sですよ！Naked EyesもNenaもFixxも
KajagoogooもBig CountryもMadnessのあの曲も聴けます!ただし、ここにはMichael, Prince, Madonna, Wham!, Bowieといった
有名ドコロは入ってません。
(ジャーニーもシカゴも。。。）
そして、Tears For Fearsは"Everybody want to..."でなく"Shout"で、
Thompson Twinsは"Hold Me Now"でなく"Lies"なのです。
つまり、(多分）あくまで第2次 British Invention中心の選曲なのです。 既存の80'sコンピでは飽き足らない、第2次 British Invention派の貴方にはオススメです!
